The Don'ts of Washing Your Car

Here are a few don'ts when washing your car:

Don't wait too long to wash your car. Waiting too long before washing your car can be damaging on your car's paint.

Don't let bird droppings, dead bugs, or other contaminants build up on your car's paint surface. All of these contaminants and chemicals will deteriorate your paint.

Don't let contaminants and chemicals from the environment settle and build up on your car. They can cause damage to your car and your car may require sanding and repainting to the areas affected.

Don't use household cleaning products to wash your car. Household cleaning agents such as dishwashing detergents, liquid detergents, glass cleaners, or hand soaps tend to be too harsh on the paint of your car. These household cleaning agents are not made to be used on the paint of a car and can strip the protective wax on your car.

Don't use rough and abrasive materials to wash or dry your car. Using rough abrasive cloths or other materials when washing or drying your car can leave scratches on the paint of your car.

Being careless when washing your car can leave the paint of your car in a worse condition than when you started. CrossRoads Hand Car Wash has been hand washing cars for over 15 years. We have skilled employees who do a great job washing and detailing vehicles. We know how to wash cars and other vehicles the right way.
